Description: Reimagining the Textbook: Creating and Using New E- and Open Formats is a one day workshop designed to support affordable textbook publishing and adoption efforts, particularly for use in replacing traditional commercial textbooks with Open Educational Resources (OERs). Topics include commercial and open eTextbook platforms and tools and strategies to support campus and faculty adoption, authoring, and publishing of eTextbooks.
This day of learning, conversation, and inspiration is hosted by Affordable Learning Georgia, the USG initiative to promote student success by providing affordable textbook alternatives. The program includes national and USG speakers, including Affordable Learning Georgia grantees who have published their own open eTextbooks. A light breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack will be provided. Registration is limited.

Cost: There is no cost to register and attend; however, cancellations of less than 48 hours and no-shows may result in a $35.00 charge to the registrant.
